Job Description
Filma is looking for a video editor in the Philippines to edit 3 x 15 second online commercials for a Food Brand Product. This video will be in English and have some Tagalog throughout the video.
Ideally, the editor needs to understand both corporate and commercial editing. They must be highly flexible, have good communication skills, and be available for the entire duration of the project. The duration is expected to be 4 weeks in total.

Responsibility
Video editing, using storyboards and scripts for assembling and finishing edits.
Understanding how to provide alternative edit suggestions as alternative solutions.
Pre-mixing and editing sound and audio files into the edit, sound design elements.
Temporary graphics and text placement within the edit, such as lower thirds.
Meeting editing presentation deadlines for director, agency, and client.
Provide creative and constructive ideas to help achieve the edits mosts potential.
Ability to decipher a client’s wants and needs when giving feedback.
Foreseeing and preventing potential challenges that might happen during the edit.
Qualifications
Fluent understanding in video editing and able to use Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, or Davinci Resolve.
A minimal understanding of how to pre-mix sound and audio files during the edit
A minimal understanding of graphics and placement
Minimum 3 years of experience working in film or video production.
Excellent English and local language communication skills.
Dependability and Professional integrity.
Can-do attitude.
